Who can participate?
This summer school is specifically organized to bring together students and researchers in their early career who work in language acquisition research in Europe.
When and where does it take place?
June 4 to 9, 2015 (Thu to Tue)
The date is right before the WILD conference starting on Wed June 10.
The summer school will be held at the University of Stockholm.
Looking for accommodation?
We are working to help you find decent priced rooms. More information will follow.
Are there any deadlines?
Yes, but they are not fixed yet. Registration will start in 2015.
What are the costs?
We will have to charge a tuition fee. The amount is not fixed yet - we are trying to keep them as low as possible. The payment modalities will be specified in the registration procedure.
How do I register?
The registration will open in 2015.
What are the courses?
There will be four courses, each about a different topic. There won't be any courses in parallel, you can participate in all of them (a detailed program will follow soon).
Only teaching - No fun?
The teaching can and will be fun but we are planning also a day for social activities. Since there is a weekend in between, with Svenska flaggans dag – the Swedish National holiday – on June 6 there is enough time to relax, get to know each other and explore Stockholm.
Where was ISOLDE before?
ISOLDE 2014 took place from July 4 to 9 at the University of Potsdam. We hope to make it a regularly recurring event to increase exchange and collaboration between young researchers working in early language acquisition in Europe.
