Information for new students in summer 2026
You are new at the University and have no idea how it all works and want to meet new people?
We your student council have prepared many things to help you find your way in this new surrounding and life.
In the first two weeks of october (29.09.-12.10.), also called "Erstiwochen" German: Ersti = nick name for first semesters, Wochen=weeks, there will be many events planned by us or the University. The official events will inform you about everything academical and our events are meant to get to know your fellow students and Potsdam.

Welcome Weeks
In the first two weeks of october we have planned many fun activities to get to know your fellow students, useful tools and information as well as us the student council. There is no need to register anywhere, just be at the right place at the right time!
