Research Focus

At the Chair of Business Informatics and Digital Transformation, we are researching “human-centered digital transformation,” which focuses on people as the central actors in digital change. Our research examines the interactions between digital technologies, organizations, and society. In the area of digital organization, we examine the relationships between organizations, people, and digital technologies in order to realize sustainable value creation. The focus on augmented intelligence deals with the expansion of cognitive abilities through digital systems and the improvement of human-machine interaction. The focus of social cohesion is on how digital technologies can strengthen social cohesion and social integration. Through interdisciplinary research, we combine these topics to develop innovative solutions that benefit both businesses and society.
