Niklas Schelten

Niklas Schelten received the B.Sc. degree  and the M.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, in 2019 and 2022, respectively.
From 2018 to 2021, he was a Student Assistant with the Embedded Systems Group, Image Processing Department, Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications—Heinrich-Hertz-Institute (HHI), Berlin, Germany.
In 2022 he worked as an FPGA developer at Tigris Elektronik GmbH where electronic assemblies for medical and industrial applications are developed and produced.
Since 2023 he is a Research Assistant with the Image Processing Department at Fraunhofer HHI and researches as part of the NAAICE project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research
Currently, his research interests lies in high performance network communications to integrate FPGAs as network-attached-accelerators into HPC environments.
