Digital Engineering Faculty

The Digital Engineering Faculty, jointly established by the University of Potsdam and the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI), is the first privately funded department of a German public university. The faculty's mission is to become a university excellence center in the field of digital engineering. It is funded entirely by the Hasso Plattner Foundation. HPI is the only university institute in Germany offering a bachelor's program in IT Systems Engineering – a highly practical, engineering-oriented computer science program. We supplement our programs by master's degrees: Digital Health and Computer Science.
