German norms for semantic typicality, age of acquisition and concept familiarity for 824 concepts of 11 semantic categories

Aim of the project is to collect German norm data for semantic typicality, age of acquisition, concept familiarity, word frequency, and word length for a large database of 824 nouns from 11 semantic categories. The database can be used by researchers from different scientific fields and increases the pool of available German norm data. As such, it will serve as an important tool for selecting stimuli in the research of healthy lexical–semantic processing and in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from lexical–semantic impairments.
