We recommend that all new students visit the special events that are offered to ease into life at the university. By the way - during this orientation phase we also offer a round table discussion on the topic of “Studying with Health Issues/ a disability.”
If you are concerned with the questions below or if you have similar questions, we invite you to make an appointment for a personal consultation with Mrs. Bürger.
The first weeks of the semester are over and you know your schedule for tests, presentations, papers or oral exams. Now is the time to look into the available equality measures.
Please refer to the special pages about individual equality measures for further information. Together with Mrs. Bürger students with a disability, a chronic illness or a mental health issue can identify adequate and individual arrangements. And once more we ask you not to hold back with your questions!
Therefore we want to make you aware of additional counseling and advising services within and outside our university.
Providing services for our students is also central to what we do at the computer Center, ZIM and at the library. This applies especially to questions and requests by students with health issues/ disabilities.
