IRTG Cultures of Repair

Potsdam Postcolonial Studies Collective members Anja Schwarz, Lars Eckstein, Nicole Waller, Dirk Wiemann, Marcia Schenck, and Pavan Kumar Malreddy are launching the new International Research Training Group “Cultures of Repair” together with members of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Potsdam, Germany and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Co-funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and The University of Melbourne, the IRTG aims to facilitate doctoral degrees within the framework of a focused research programme and a structured training strategy. 

The programme explores repair as a critical, creative, and future-oriented practice that sustains social, cultural, and ecological life.
