Heinz Kleger is Professor of Political Theory at the University of Potsdam. After studying philosophy, political science, history and sociology, he got is PhD from the University of Zurich (1984) and qualified as a professor (1991). Before his appointment to the University of Potsdam he was assistant professor of political theory at the University of Konstanz. From 2004 to 2008 he also taught at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt / Oder. In the recent years, Heinz Kleger carried out research projects on the topics of "civic community and participatory budgeting", "Edict of Potsdam" and "civic participation between art and government enablement". He is also editor of the series "Region - Nation - Europe".

  • Citizen participation plan for the town of Potsdam, with research seminars, scientific monitoring and evaluation (since 2011)
