Project

I am currently working as a PhD student inside the project PYROPHOB. Here, I research how burned pine forests are recolonized by plants in the first years after wildfires and how forest management impacts the post-fire vegetation. Our study areas are located in Brandenburg (NE Germany) approx. 50km Southwestern of Berlin.

  • Recolonization and succession processes
  • Effects of wildfires in Germany on the vegetation

Since 2020: PhD student inside the PYROPHOB project at the University of Potsdam
