DFG Research Project Teach 2
The DFG research project "Teach - school context characteristics, teacher motivation and teaching" is a continuation of the Teach! Study. The first Teach! study (2019-2022) focused in particular on the links between teacher motivation in mathematics, the quality of teaching and the motivation of lower secondary school students. We are now expanding this question to include the school context and are investigating the significance of school characteristics for the motivation of teachers and students as well as for the quality of teaching.
Duration: January 2024 - December 2026
The research project is a collaboration between the departments of School Psychology and Educational Psychology at the University of Potsdam under the direction of Prof. Dr. Rebecca Lazarides and Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schiefele.
