Welcome to the homepage of X-ray crystallography at the University of Potsdam

On this website you will find all information about the teaching and service offer as well as current publications of the X-ray crystallography of the Institute of Chemistry of the University of Potsdam.

Under "Teaching", the contents of the different lectures and practical courses as well as important information such as exam dates can be found.

Under "X-ray crystallography" we introduce our team and our equipment and give important information for sample submission. You will also find the sample form that has to be filled out for each crystal sample submitted. In addition to single crystal structure determination, we offer other services such as searches in various structure databases, analysis of Hirshfeld surfaces and intermolecular interactions, and visualization of measurement results for theses and publications. Should you wish to take advantage of any of these services, please feel free to contact us at any time.

In " Publications" you will find the PhD thesis of Eric Sperlich, as well as published journal articles and published single crystal structures.

On this main page you will find microscope images of various crystal samples and different visualizations of crystal and molecular structures. You will also link to interesting videos presenting X-ray crystallography in more detail.
