1. UFSKW (Online) Postdoc networking workshop
The University Research Focus Cognitive Sciences (UFSKW) aims to promote young talented researchers in the field of cognitive sciences at the University of Potsdam. Therefore, the UFSKW invites all interested postdocs to a two-hour online networking workshop on Friday, October 09, 2020.
What is the workshop about?
The cognitive sciences are an interdisciplinary research area with interfaces to, for example, psychology, linguistics, mathematics, biology, computer science, and sports and movement science. Although there are overlaps in research activities and interests between these disciplines as well as between different research teams, there is often a lack of knowledge about who exactly is working on which topics and how (methods) at the university. Perhaps there is someone sitting on the floor next to you who already knows the answer to the questions and problems you are dealing with!? The aims of this online networking workshop are to get to know other postdocs from the cognitive sciences at the University of Potsdam, and to identify common research topics and methodological approaches to promote further networking.
