Max Oliver Schmidt

Oliver is a temporary lecturer at the Chair of General Sociology. He was research associate at the Chair of General Sociology and at the Chair of Organizational and Administrative Sociology. He was Doctoral Researcher (full scholarship) at the DFG-Research Training Group ‘Wicked Problems, Contested Administrations: Knowledge, Coordination, Strategy’. He holds a M.A., Military Studies – Military Sociology/History, University of Potsdam. His research is on social closure theory, forced migration, organisation theory, displacement and exploitation of migrant workers, and the methodology of emancipatory social science.
