RESEARCH INTERESTS 

In the past I mainly worked on disease modelling projects using zebrafish as a model organism, which I am happy to continue here as well. Currently I am leading two projects in the Seyfried lab. One focusing on the understanding of the effects of the mutation of the efnb2a gen. We are using a complex approach by using embryos, juvenile and adult animals to identify and analyse the malformations that we observe. My second project is focusing on the aging of the vasculature, here we are trying to understand how does the transcription of endothelial cells change over time, by utilizing the latest RNA sequencing technology.
