Expanding the German-Australian Partnership

The University of Potsdam intends to intensify its strategic cooperation with Macquarie University in Sydney. To this end, University President Prof. Oliver Günther, PhD., and Vice President for Research, Early Career Researchers and Equal Opportunities Prof. Dr. Barbara Höhle welcomed a delegation from the Australian university during a visit to Am Neuen Palais campus on September 8.

Ranked in the 201-250 group, it occupies an excellent position in the growing field of now 2191 ranked universities from 115 countries worldwide.

Brandenburg strengthens cooperation with India

On 8 January 2026, Minister of Science Dr Manja Schüle and Dr Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Secretary of State for Technical Education of the Government of Uttarakhand, signed an agreement on future science and research cooperation between the State of Brandenburg and the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
