Biografie und Forschungsinteressen

Christiane Patzwald war von 2013 bis 2020 Doktorandin am Lehrstuhl für Entwicklungspsychologie an der Universität Potsdam. In dieser Zeit war sie Stipendiatin der Landesgraduiertenförderung Brandenburg sowie des Koordinationsbüros für Chancengleichheit der Universität Potsdam. Ihre Doktorarbeit entstand im BabyLAB und beschäftigte sich mit der Fragestellung, wie soziale Hinweisreize die Handlungsverarbeitung und Handlungsselektion von Kleinkindern beeinflussen.

Seit 2017 ist sie als akademische Mitarbeiterin tätig. Sie setzt vorrangig die Methoden Imitation und Elektroenzephalografie (EEG) ein.

Christiane Patzwald studierte Psychologie an der Universität Trier. Während ihres Studiums arbeitete sie als studentische Hilfskraft in der Abteilung Neurokognition der Sprache (Leitung: Prof. Dr. Isabell Wartenburger). Ihre Diplomarbeit schrieb sie über rationale Imitation im zweiten Lebensjahr.

Christiane Patzwald kooperiert mit dem Infant Action and Cognition Lab (Leitung: Dr. Petra Hauf) der St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS, Kanada, wo sie mehrere Forschungsaufenthalte absolvierte.
