The transfer of knowledge in teaching is beside research the main objective of the chair. A broad variety of courses teach Strategic Management in the context of diverse industries, such as Professional Services, Healthcare, Media & Telecommunications and Sports. Beyond the basic concepts of corporate and competitive strategy, courses focus always on the application of managerial heuristics. Therefore lectures and seminars are accompanied by a target-oriented mix of teaching methods, e.g. case studies, roleplaying, research projects and the use of eLearning and blended learning, to foster autonomous learning and knowledge application under realistic conditions. By this means the requirements of modern academic teaching to supply applicable knowledge for corporate and real-life practice.
