Bestandsaufnahme urbaner Klimaanpassung

Wie ist der Stand der Klimaanpassung in deutschen Groß- und Mittelstädten und welche Erklärungsansätze gibt es für unterschiedliche Grade der Aktivität? Welche Faktoren begünstigen oder hemmen die Klimaanpassung und auf welche Art und Weise tun sie dies?

Mit unterschiedlichen Ansätzen haben wir in ExTrass-F+E den Stand der Klimaanpassung in ca. 100 Groß- und Mittelstädten bundesweit erfasst und eine Typisierung der Städte vorgenommen. Für etwa 25 dieser Städte wurde deren klimapolitische Entwicklung aufgearbeitet. Auf der Grundlage beider Untersuchungsschritte konnten begünstigende und hemmende Faktoren sowie besonders erfolgreiche Lösungen, aber auch Sackgassen in der Klimaanpassung identifiziert werden.

In ExTrass-V wurde der Überblick der urbanen Klimaanpassung aktualisiert und auf über 200 deutsche Städte ausgeweitet.
