Professor of  Media Ecology. Research (selection) on Data Visualization, on digital images and general theories and history of Diagramms; as of 2017 Principle Investigator of  Climate Images. New Potentials for Analyzing Networked Images (funded by the  VolkswagenFoundation) a project that explores the potentials of digital methods for the the analysis of climate images.
