JUDr. Olga Rosenkranzová, Ph.D.

She completed her Ph.D. in 2004 at the Department of Business Law, Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno. The topic of the dissertation was: Bodies of Capital Companies.

From 2002 to 2014, she worked at the Ombudsman's Office where she focused on administrative law, fair trial, and anti-discrimination law.

From 2018 to 2023 she worked in the Disciplinary Senate in Judicial Matters to the Supreme Administrative Court; 2018-2020 she worked on the project Metaphysics of Law, and 2021-2023 on Human Dignity – basic Law or basic Duty.

Since 2015 she has been working as the Senior Lecturer at the Department of Law and Legal History at the Faculty of Law, Palacký University in Olomouc; she teaches legal methodology and general legal-theoretical issues. She has been a member of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy since 2018, and a lecturer for the Justice Academy of the Czech Republic (Methodology of human rights) since 2022.

She is the author of scientific articles on anti-discrimination law, administrative law, corporate law, and the article about Human Dignity by Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (2017); or Age of Rights? Human Duties in the Lights of Kant´s Philosophy (2021), and the co-author of the publication Legal Ethics, where she contributed a chapter on the Ethics of Human Dignity, as well as a textbook Practice of Legal Methodology. She also wrote a chapter on The New Point of View on Pico´s and Kant´s Concept of Dignity to the book Human Dignity (Studies in Law, Politics and Society, Volume 88, 2022, Emerald Publishing Limited),  as well as a monograph on Human Dignity - Pico & Kant (2019).
