Anton Schulte

Anton Schulte earned his B.Sc. degree in Engineering Science and his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, in 2017 and 2020, respectively.

From 2017 to 2021, he served as a Student Assistant with the Embedded Systems Group in the Image Processing Department at Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications—Heinrich-Hertz-Institute (HHI) in Berlin, Germany.

In 2021, Anton worked as an Electronics Developer at AKmira Optronics GmbH, focusing on high-bandwidth fiber optic links between FPGAs. In 2022, he worked as an FPGA Developer at Planetary Transportation Systems GmbH, specializing in FPGA solutions for in-space avionics.

Anton Schulte is currently a Research Assistant with the Embedded Systems Group in the Video Communications and Applications Department at Fraunhofer HHI. His ongoing research endeavors encompass leveraging high-bandwidth networking to integrate FPGAs and other VLSI architectures for machine learning applications, while also actively contributing to the advancement of tools for hardware development to enhance reliability and accessibility in the research and development process.
