Research Interests

I found my passion in the field of computational systems biology that looks for network patterns to explain emerging properties of biological systems. Plants as sessile organisms provide a fantastic playground to study the interplay between molecular phenotypes and their effect on agriculturally relevant traits. As part of the CRC 1644  my group focus on the development of large-scale kinetic models that can be used to study constraints in phenotypic plasticity of metabolic traits and their relation to plasticity in growth.
