Research Data Management
CRC 1644 is committed to good research data practice in line with the Open Science Guidelines of the University of Potsdam and the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). Data management across the CRC is coordinated centrally through project Z2 (Data management, synthesis, and integration).
General Policies
Research data management within the CRC follows the university-wide framework:
Data Storage
CRC 1644 maintains an internal, CRC-wide cloud storage solution used for collaborative work across the consortium, including shared protocols, resource lists, and research data during the active phase of a project. This is intended for day-to-day use and intermediate storage, not for long-term archiving of published data.
FAIR data
Relevant and published research data of the CRC will be made FAIR through project Z2, which supports integration with the NFDI DataPlant infrastructure for plant science research data. For questions on data management plans or data publication, please contact the Z2 team.
