The Single-Subject-Bachelor, held in the German language, provides a basic understanding of a wide range of physical processes from an experimental and theoretical perspective. Modules in Experimental and Theoretical Physics offer a smooth introduction to university-level physics. Important tools include mathematical training over four semesters and the development of experimental skills in the basic and advanced laboratory.

At the end of the study program, various advanced modules are available on topics in advanced physics such as astrophysics, condensed matter physics, nonlinear dynamics, and quantum and climate physics. In addition, students can partake in research projects offered by the intern research groups or external faculties. The study program gets finished with a bachelor's thesis.
