The precision engineering workshop at the Institute of Physics and Astronomy is responsible to implement scientific ideas and concepts into technological results. Our services cover nearly all types of projects that are feasible in today's mechanical manufacturing sector. We can work on a wide range of materials, including aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, steel, stainless steel, various plastics, and ceramics. Manufacturing processes such as turning, milling, drilling, sawing, grinding, bending, and shearing are used in the production of components. High-precision machines enable very tight tolerances.

Our highly trained and experienced staff ensure the highest product quality. Through regular training and instruction, their expertise is always up to date with the latest technological advancements.
