Andrea Liese is Professor for International Organisations at the University of Potsdam. She is co-director of the project area "'Talk and Action.' How International Organizations Respond to Areas of Limited Statehood." in the SFB 700. In 2006/07 Andrea Liese was Kennedy Fellow (DAAD) at the Center for European Studies at Harvard University. Her research focuses on international cooperation and institutions, human rights and global governance. She is a member of the research council of the German Society for the United Nations (DGVN), the steering committee of the joint Master's degree program international relations of the University of Potsdam, Freie Universität Berlin and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and associate supervisor at the Berlin Graduate School for Transnational studies.
