PostDoc position
One (1) PostDoc position in Individual Based Global Change Ecology at the University of Potsdam, Germany. We are looking for an open-topic post-doc to be part of the Individual Based Global Change Ecology research focus topic group. The PostDoc should aim to connect the various researchers and research groups under the banner of individual based global change ecology.
The PostDoc project should strengthen the UFS profile. Ideally they could:
- connect some of the ecologists and research fields at our campus (biodiversity, animal ecology, aquatic ecology, conservation biology, macroecology)
- add expertise on ecosystem coupling, as this will be the topic of our next consortial application
- bring a related dataset, or dive into one of joint datasets
- add a strong case study system
- sharpen the coupling frame work
For more information on the position itself, see the attached advertisement from the University of Potsdam (here), and contact Prof. Dr. Jana Eccard (Email: jana.eccard@uni-potsdam.de) or the coordinator, Molly Gilmour (gilmour@uni-potsdam.de). Please make sure to specify the research focus area INDIVIDUAL-BASED GLOBAL CHANGE ECOLOGY [ID no. 226/2025] in all communications, including application for the position.
