Objectives of the project

The main goal of the project is to understand how teachers' motivation influences their motivational language in the classroom and how teachers' motivational messages then affect students' motivation.

We are interested in the following questions:

  1. How exactly do teachers motivate learners?
  2. What role does the language of teachers play in motivating learners?
  3. What do teachers say who are highly successful in motivating their learners?
