Numerical Modelling for Ore-forming Systems

This workshop will cover various aspects of numerical modelling for ore-forming aqueous systems. The program will address all relevant scales: From molecur scale dynamics of chemical interactions in aqueous fluids via chemical thermodynamics of fluid-rock interaction to large-scale reactive flow models and its connection to even larger geodynamic processes. The workshop will be held as a mix of introductory lectures and and hands-on tutorials. It will provide insights to possibilities and limitations, particularly for people not familiar with these techniques.
