Rückmeldung zum Sommersemester 2026
Ihr könnt euch seit dem 15. Januar für das Sommersemester 2026 zurückmelden. Ihr habt noch bis zum 15. Februar dafür Zeit, ab dann müsst ihr eine extra Gebühr zahlen. Informationen zur Rückmeldung findet ihr unter dem Studienservice auf PULS!

Geht nicht im Klausurstress unter!
Das neue Jahr ist da, dass heißt bald werden die ersten Klausuren geschrieben! Hiermit also ein kleiner Reminder, dass es sich langsam lohnt mit dem Lernen anzufangen. Über unsere Website könnt ihr Zugriff zu unserer Altklausurensammlung bekommen, die Zugangsdaten dazu hängen sowohl im Mathecafé als auch im Forum Physikum.

Ihr könnt uns auch alle Klausuren die ihr schreibt zukommen lassen, damit wir sie auf die Website stellen können. Damit helft ihr zukünfitigen Generationen beim lernen!

UN-Tag: Women in Science
Am 11. Februar findet, anlässlich zum UN-Tag “Women in Science”, die Veranstaltung “Forscherinnen in Naturwissenschaften, Mathematik und Informatik” statt. Professorinnen aus der Astrophysik, Chemie, Mathematik, Physik und Umweltwissenschaften berichten über ihren Forschungsalltag, ihren Weg in die Wissenschaften und Herausforderungen, die ihnen auf dem Weg begegnet sind.
Wenn ihr schon immer Fragen an die Professorinnen hattet, könnt ihr diese bei gemütlicher Atmosphäre und Snacks ab 11:00 am 11.02.2026 im Raum 2.28.0.108 stellen.

Lehrproben Analysis
Die Proffesur-Stelle in der Analysis soll zum Ende des Jahres neu besetzt werden! Für alle, die Kontext dazu benötigen: das ist die Stelle, die aktuell von Sylvie Paycha besetzt ist und würde Vorlesungen, wie die Analysis 1-4 und die Mathe für Physik 1-4 lesen.

Um diese Stelle zu besetzen wurden Kandidierende ausgewählt, die nun testweise niedrigschwellige Vorträge zu Themen aus der Analysis halten sollen, um ihre Lehrfähigkeit einzuschätzen. Zu denen sind wir alle herzlich eingeladen, zum Zuhören und, um im Nachhinein die Vorträge auf ihre Lehrqualität zu bewerten.

Daher ist es wichtig, dass viele kommen, um sich diese Vorträge in Raum 2.22 in Haus 9 am 28.01. um 12:00 und am 03., 04., 09. und 10.02. ab 9:00 anzuhören und sie zu bewerten. Denn so wird sichergestellt, dass die Professor:innen unserer Uni auch hochwertige Lehre machen, die bei Studierenden auch tatsächlich ankommt.

registration for the summer semester 2026
Since the 15th of January, you can register for the summer semester through PULS. The deadline is the 15th of February, any day later and you have to pay a fee. You can pay the semester fee through the Student Service in PULS.

Don’t drown in exam stress!
The new year is here, which means the first exams are due soon! So here’s a little reminder that it’s time to start studying. You can access our collection of past exams via our site, and the login details are posted in both the Maths Café and the Physikum Forum.

You can also send us all the exams you take so that we can post them on the website. This will help future generations with their studies!

Regular Events

• There probably will not be any Creative or Game Evenings in February.
• Regular meetings: The next meeting will be on the 11th of February at 4pm. More on our website.

UN-Day: Women in Science
On the 11th of February, on the occasion of the UN-Day “Women in Science”, Lunchtalks will be held by Professors from Astrophysics, Chemistry, Mathmatics, Physics and Nature Sciences. They will talk about their daily life as a scientist, how they got here and the challenges they encountered along the way.
The lunchtalks will probably be held in german, but you are still welcome to ask any burning questions about their careers and work in a comfortable atmosphere. The event starts at 11 am on the 11th of February in the room 2.28.0.108.s

Analysis Test Lectures
The professorial position for analysis is currently in the process of getting assinged anew before the end of the year. For everyone who doesn’t know: that is the position currently held by Sylvie Paycha and would hold basic lectures such as Analysis 1-4 and Maths for Physicists 1-4.

To fill this position several candidates have been invited to hold short lectures about an introductory topic in analysis to show their teaching abilities. We, as students, are happily invited to attend these lectures and possibly give our personal evaluations on their teaching abilities at the end.

It is thus very important that many students attend these lectures in room 2.22 in house 9 on January 28 at 12:00 as well as on Febuary 3, 4, 9 and 10 at 9:00. After all, this is the process by which we assure that we have professors with high quality lectures at our university which is of course especially important for the introductory level lectures this professor will hold.
