DFG Research Training Groups

UP strongly supports the establishment of DFG national and international Research Training Groups (RTG, ‘Graduiertenkollegs’). Since 2012 three RTGs have been successfully established in the Earth and Environmental Sciences and in Biochemistry and Biology with direct links to NEXUS. Previously, the UP also hosted the RTG 1364 (Shaping Earth’s Surface in a Variable Environment) that was successfully completed in 2014 after the maximum of two funding periods.
