Usage information
Your UP account expires 90 days after leaving the University of Potsdam (end of your employment contract or exmatriculation). The ZIM will inform you via email in a timely manner about the upcoming deactivation.
Students
When you start your studies at the University of Potsdam, you will receive a central university account (UP-account). This is your personal ID for accessing various IT services. Before using the account, you have to activate it.

Employees
When you start working at the University of Potsdam, you will receive a central university account (UP-account). This is your personal ID for accessing various IT services. Before using the account, you have to activate it. You need xour staff number in order to activate your account.

Lecturers and guests
Guest accounts can be created and managed in Account.UP. To do this, contact the person responsible for you in your department/division.
