UPrepare

Once you have received the e-mail with details on the application procedure and the online platform, please register with UPrepare. After we have processed your registration, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. This process may take a few days.

Important: You should log into UPrepare regularly, at least several times per month, so that you don't miss any important information.

Once logged in, you will be taken to the main page, and here, in the main window, you will find current tasks and news (if applicable). The menu on the left side of the screen will take you to the two main fields of UPrepare, the sections “planning” and “useful information.”

Planning: It is crucial that you read and complete these tasks!

The tasks contain important information and serve as a checklist of things you need to do in preparation for your stay abroad. The section “planning” is divided up into four separate segments in order to provide a timeline for their completion:

  1. "Overdue Tasks": These tasks must be completed immediately as their deadline has already passed.
  2. "Tasks To Do": These tasks should be read and completed as soon as possible.
  3. "Future Tasks": These tasks can be read and completed at a later time.
  4. "Completed Tasks": These tasks have been completed.

Useful Information: optional reading

The segment "useful information" contains facts, advice, and suggestions, which may be used if desired.

MoveOnline-Application Form

Through UPrepare you will receive a link to the online application system (MoveOnline). You must complete a separate registration for the application platform MoveOnline.

Should the application form not offer you the choice for selecting your home university, your home country, or other applicable information, please select an option that fits most closely and then correct the non-applicable entry by hand in the paper version that you are sending to us.

Upon submission of the online application, a PDF file will be generated. Please print this document. The hard copy of your application must arrive by July 15 (for the following winter semester) or January 15 (for the following summer semester), at the latest.
