Synopsis: Four women from different regions of Eastern Europe have chosen Italy — and Sardinia in particular — as the place where they could rebuild their lives. The film tells of journeys of integration, social participation, and active citizenship. Among the protagonists is Viktorya, who came to Italy following a serious accident and embarked on an intense path of healing and new beginnings.

Synopsis: Five years on, we meet the protagonists of the first film again. Viktorya, who was once unable to move following her trauma, is today the Italian, European, and World Champion in para-canoe, a member of the Paralympic national team, and is preparing for the Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. A story of extraordinary resilience, self-determination, and successful social inclusion.
