Cagliari trifft Potsdam, um gemeinsam sprachliche Landschaften zu erkunden

Cagliari meets Potsdam to explore linguistic landscapes together!

From May 14–20, seven students from the University of Cagliari, accompanied by professors Giulia Grosso and Nicoletta Puddu, visited University of Potsdam to meet the students of the seminar led by Marta Lupica Spagnolo.

This EDUC mobility project followed an online EDUC collaboration that took place during the winter semester, where students from Potsdam, Cagliari, and Masaryk University worked together within the project “Linguistic and Narrative Landscapes: Identity, Memory and Transformation”.

The focus of the project? Linguistic landscapes: how languages and other semiotic resources shape public spaces through signs, messages, and symbols reflecting belonging, collective memory, and the negotiation of power dynamics.

A week of exchange, research, and international collaboration across languages, cities, and perspectives.
