• What does LifE stand for?
LifE stands for Life Courses in Early Adulthood. For more information on the structure of the study see »Concept of LifE.
• What is the aim of the study?
LifE is a research project that explores life courses from adolescence to adulthood. Of interest are, among other things, the »subject areas partnership and family, educational pathways, children and health.
• What are the results so far?
The list of »publications will display the published sources in which the results are treated.
• How is the study financed?
The funding comes from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
• What about privacy?
Your data will, of course, be treated strictly confidentially, completely anonymized and will not be passed on to third parties. You can find all information under »data protection and privacy.
• Who is involved in this study?
The research team consists of dedicated scientists from various disciplines of the universities of Potsdam, Zurich, Innsbruck and Constance. A list of the employees currently working on this study can be found »here.
• Why should I participate in the survey?
Thanks to your participation you will be making an important contribution to a unique life course study and will help to broaden the knowledge and understanding of ways of life from adolescence to adulthood.
