Motor measures have recently gained great consideration from psychologist and neuroscientists interested in investigating how executed and observed actions are processed during social interactions. To this aim, researchers employ a wide range of measures, from motion tracking to monitoring of neurophysiological measures and brain stimulation.
This research is helping shedding light into basic mechanisms of social cognition, also opening the avenue to a significant methodological shift towards more ecological experiments.
The workshop will gather invited speakers from Germany, France, Netherlands and Italy to present the recent advancements in their research, as well as to discuss future directions and developments.
