DESCRIPTION:Generative AI is reshaping how research is conducted—from idea generation to publication. This interactive workshop explores how AI-based tools can enhance each stage of the research cycle, improving efficiency, creativity, and decision-making.\n\nIn this workshop, you will engage with cutting-edge AI applications, including ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Claude, Perplexity.ai, you.com and GitHub Copilot to learn streamlining your research processes. Through a mix of hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and discussions, this session will equip you with practical strategies for integrating AI into your work routines while maintaining good scientific practice.\n\nLearning Goals:\n\nThe workshop aims to integrate AI into various stages of the research process. Participants will learn to use AI for generating hypotheses, conducting comprehensive literature reviews, and synthesizing knowledge. The curriculum covers using AI tools to aid in proposal and manuscript writing, enhancing clarity and argumentation. Additionally, it explores AI's role in data handling and experimentation, including survey analysis and coding, with a focus on improving programming skills through AI-based assistance. The workshop also addresses AI's application in science communication and publishing, as well as discussing ethical considerations and challenges, such as bias and data privacy, under the framework of Good Scientific Practice.\n\nGehalten von:\nDr. Alexander Britz\n\nAnmeldung:\nJa, bis zum 11.02.2026\n\nVeranstaltungsart:\nWorkshop\n\nSachgebiet:\nAllgemein, Digital Engineering Fakultät, Fakultät für Gesundheitswissenschaften, Forschungsinitiative Netzwerk Digitale Geisteswissenschaften, Humanwissenschaftliche Fakultät, Internationales, Juristische Fakultät, Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftliche Fakultät, Philosophische Fakultät, Potsdam Graduate School, Veranstaltungen, Weiterbildungen, Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftliche Fakultät, Wissenschaftliche Qualifizierungsphase\n\nUniversitäts-/ Fachbereich:\nZentrale Universitätseinrichtungen\n\nZusätzliche Termininformationen:\nTwo dates:\nWed, Feb 18, 2026 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM\nThu, Feb 19, 2026 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM\n\nVeranstalter:\nPotsdam Graduate School\n\nKontakt:\nPatrick Stenzel\nAm Kanal 47\n14467, Potsdam\nTel: 0331 977-4029\nEmail: pogs@uni-potsdam.de\n\nWeitere Informationen:\nhttps://pogs.ws.uni-potsdam.de/termin/detail?tid=154\n\n
