Student initiatives in particular deal with racism in many ways, and point out problems and offer advice and support to those affected. In this event we will talk to representatives of different initiatives about their goals and demands, why student initiatives are needed and how they see their own role as actors at the university.\n\nPanel: Representatives of the Anti-racism Department at the AStA (University of Potsdam), Postcolonial Potsdam, Black Student Union (Humboldt University of Berlin) and Samuel Debbas (PhD student and co-initiator of the AMG)\n\nAngelo Camufingo (he/him) is a freelance anti-racism and education consultant, certified trainer for diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice and consultant. He is founder of STUBBORN Consulting and part of the project management of Each One Teach One (EOTO) e.V. in KomPAD (competence network of and for People of African Descent). Additionally, he publishes on racism, racialized emotions and European colonialism and is currently researching socio-emotional learning and auto-ethnographic work on racism, emotions and colonial continuities.\n\nThe event will be held in English.\n\nThe talk is part of the online event series "Racism and Higher Education".\n\n 	 		 			 			Registration: The event will take place via Zoom.
