The Media Center offers students the opportunity to work on teaching materials on-site, to take languages tests on the computer, and to prepare for examinations and language tests. The wide range of teaching materials is supplemented by network drives. DVDs can be viewed in Blue ray and DVD players. A copier is also available in the Media Center. The only way to pay for the copier is to use your semester ticket. Print media and your own materials can be digitized on the book scanner and stored on a USB stick.
Can you borrow books or other media from the Media Center?
In general, the Media Center is not a lending library, meaning that the books are meant to remain in the Center and not be loaned out. Textbooks, dictionaries, and other teaching materials can be lent out for the duration of a seminar (2 hours) or for an examination at the student assistant information desk. DVDs can only be viewed in the Media Center.

Be considerate to others - speaking on the phone, or any other noisy activities, should be avoided.
The Media Center is not a lending library. All media are secured against theft; when you check these items out at the Student Information Desk, you will pay a deposit to unlock the materials, and then they will be locked again when you return them. Please do not put them on the shelf yourself.
The computer workstations are available to all students, with preference given to language-learning activities. Private files can be saved on a USB stick. It is imperative that copyright law be observed.
Video and DVD workstations are also available to everyone without restriction. Please pick up and return remote controls from the Student Information Desk. Headphones are available at the workstations.
