The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences views itself as an internationally oriented institution for teaching and research.
Internationalization is a task for the entire university that is becoming increasingly important due to the international connections between teaching, study, and research. The agenda includes the promotion and strengthening of intercultural communication and competencies for Faculty members. Internationalization is meant to improve the Faculty’s visibility and competitiveness in teaching, studies, and research.
The existing international master’s degree programs, the international research training group (WIPCAD), international research and cooperative relationships, and the Faculty’s Potsdam Center for Policy and Management (PCPM) are important pillars of the internationalization concept.
