The field laboratory comprises discharge measurements with ADC and fluorescent dye, Spatial Time Domaine Reflectometry, micro rain radar and other hydro-climatological measuring instruments.
The Chair of Hydrology and Climatology has been operating a meteorological measuring station on the Golm campus since May 2003. Another measuring station is operated at the Ecological Station Gülpe.
