Before beginning your studies

An adequate preparation for your studies has an immense impact on your success. Choosing the right field of study, finding the right university, and answering special questions ahead of time is crucial. You need to know, for example:

  • Is the university barrier-free?
  • Is attention being paid to my individual capabilities?
  • What happens if I need to go to a hospital during my studies?
  • I am visually impaired, how does this impact my studies?

A visit to the University and an individual consultation with Mrs. Bürger and the student assistants is an opportunity to answer your questions and to make the necessary arrangements together.

A “live” study experience also has an impact on your choice of a major or the university. We therefore recommend that you attend our University Open House or test the waters during a  “Schnupperstudium” that allows you to visit real courses and get a feel for the university.
