The Chair of Inequality Research and Social Stratification Analysis offers a wide range of research. Main focus areas are social inequality, Europeanization, labor market, migration, attitudes and values, quality of life and urban change.
The following topics are covered in the chair's teaching: social structure, stratification and inequality, migration, labor and change of attitudes and values.
The Institute Colloquium of the Sociology Department will continue to take place in the 2024 sommer semester. We are looking forward to a lively discussion. Students are also cordially invited to participate in the colloquium.
