Artificial intelligence and deep learning in Geosciences and other fields,   Computational seismology and software development, Attenuation of seismic waves and methodological approaches of attenuation tomography,  Earthquake swarms activity, Moment Tensor Inversion, Digital signal processing

Other Expertise

Programming experience in Python, Java, Fortran and C. Experienced in Tensorflow and Keras deep learning frameworks. Core developer of

  •  the seismological software framework Pyrocko and of
  • Pytch, a Python-based  package to perform simultaneous analysis of multi-channel audio recordings and their visualisation in terms of waveform and spectral representations together with identified fundamental frequencies („pitches“) as well as of the intervals between the individual channels.
