Andree Pruin studied Political Science (Bachelor of Arts), Sociology and Law at the University of Duisburg-Essen, the University of Cologne and the Pázmány Péter Catholic University Budapest from 2012 to 2016. He then studied Public Policy and Management (Master of Arts) at the University of Potsdam until 2018. During his studies he worked as a student assistant for a parliamentary group in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia and for a member of the German federal parliament. Since April 2018, he is a research fellow and doctoral student in the TROPICO-project (Transforming into Open, Innovative and Collaborative Governments).
Andree Pruin's research focuses on political participation and collaborative governance (particularly open government, e-participation and e-democracy). His other main interests include parliamentarianism and political parties.
