Program overview

Are you under pressure to make a name for yourself in the research world and at the same time become known for your teaching? Are you preparing for your courses extensively and still don't feel confident? Then the "Senior Teaching Professionals" program is just the thing for you. This one-year certificate program consists of:

  1. University didactic training (6 workshops)
  2. Independent teaching at the University of Potsdam (2 SWS)
  3. Mentoring by experienced university lecturers
  4. Collegial exchange through teaching observations and Forum ProLehre

Conditions of participation & Additional information

The program is aimed at postdocs of all scientific disciplines. Please note your status as one of the following:

  • Membership in the Potsdam Graduate School
  • Possibility to teach at the University of Potsdam

 

Free childcare available during participation in program workshops.

 

The STP program represents the ACADEMIA module "Fit for Teaching." If you want to strengthen your leadership skills in addition to your teaching and examination skills, find out more about the ACADEMIA module "Fit for leadership in chairs and scientific institutions." It qualifies participants for specific tasks as chair and expands their career skills.
