Junior Teaching Professionals

The Junior Teaching Professionals (JTP) certificate program (in German!) enables PhD students at the University of Potsdam to obtain an academic teaching qualification during their PhD phase.

You can now apply for the new JTP round 2020/21.
The application deadline is 19 January 2020.

Components of the certificate program

deep end? Would you like to strengthen your previously intuitive teaching with didactic training? Then the "Junior Teaching Professionals" program is just the right thing. This one-year certificate program consists of:

  1. six university teaching workshops and one individual coaching session,
  2. supervised and independent teaching,
  3. mentoring by experienced university lecturers and
  4. networking through the Collegial Teaching Visitation and Forum ProLehre
