The Potsdam Graduate School is a founding member of the University Association for the qualification of early-stage researchers in Germany (Uniwind). The association sees itself as a network of universities that have created cross-faculty facilities for optimal training of early-stage researchers. The objectives of Uniwind are realized through the organization of conferences, forums and scientific lectures, support for graduate schools network and information portals, and opinions on important issues for early-stage researchers.
The Alfred Toepfer Foundation, the Joachim Herz Foundation, the NORDMETALL Foundation, the German Stifterverband and the Volkswagen Foundation have set up "Lehre hoch N - The Alliance for Higher Education" to further educate, educate and support transferring teachers. Exchange formats were tested and further developed with accompanying scientific research.
The project "Lehre hoch N" strengthens committed actors from the management of science and universities and university teaching, promotes their exchange and creates synergies. The Potsdam Graduate School has been part of the project since 2010.
